CSERGE at envecon 2025

Once again, CSERGE members have made significant contributions to Envecon 2025! This year, Dr Silvia Ferrini and Dr Marije Schaafsma chaired sessions at the event, held at the Royal Society in London on March 14th. The sessions covered a wide range of important topics, including energy, climate, chemical pollution, transport, and health.
A special congratulations to Dr Marije Schaafsma on her new role as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Environmental Economics and Policy!
Additionally, Vittoria Reas, PhD student at the University of Siena and student visiting at the UEA, presented her research as part of the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (ESCoE) project on natural capital accounting. The research team — comprising Prof Paul Ekins (UCL), Prof Joe Grice (King’s College London), Dr Silvia Ferrini (University of Siena, UEA, and UCL), Dr Alice Bartolini (UCL), and Vittoria —aims to develop water accounts aligned with the SEEA EA framework for the UK.
