GROW Colombia - Cattle Ranching CBA Decision Tool
The Sustainable Cattle Ranching (SCR) tool was produced within the GROW Colombia project to provide decision makers at all levels with a decision support aimed at informing the extended costs and benefits of cattle ranching towards more sustainable practices.
The tool is based on an extended cost-benefit analysis (CBA) that compares the implementation of different forms of SCR to the current extensive cattle ranching systems (Business as Usual, BAU). It allows to contrast costs and benefits of implementing SCR strategies vis-à-vis BAU.
